- Great show, during the encore Stipe asks for requests that they don’t know, so some guy shouts out for ‘Black and White’ which is a Peter Holsapple song. Some other person shouts for ‘What’s New Pussycat?’, to which Stipe laughs and says he’d love to, and he sings a few bars of it. This show can be found on the CD bootleg “Rave On”.
It was also recorded on video, but apart from a few clips found on the internet (Paul Butchart), has not yet surfaced on the trading circuit. This might actually be the true first Television appearance as according to Paul this show was broadcast on a local college television station in Raleigh.
