well, what can i say? i was THERE. i was 14 and went with two friends of mine, i think.
one of them i just got back in touch with recently and he reminded me he was there with me!
i couldn;t believe how many REM fans were there. i had no idea they were that big at the time!
i was right infront of pete buck taking notes and soaking it all up. they were truly amazing as i recall.
i remember that the three o’clock opened and i even remember the other band, true west.
i wore a paisley shirt, to signify that i was into 60′s-style music and hip to the paisley underground shit.
i remember seeing alot more paisley there. it was big at the time. thats pretty much all i remember!
I have a recording of this show. It’s probably one of my favorite shows from the 1985 tour. I saw them at the Bronco Bowl in Dallas not to long after this show and it was great too. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that Harborcoat is missing from this setlist. It was the second song of the show.
