Show opener definitely “Feeling Gravity’s Pull.” Great show in Cleveland greatest venue (now closed or rarely used.) Don’t confuse Music Hall with Public Hall. Music Hall is theatre setting. Stage backed with stage for Public Hall (Public Auditorium) the arena-sized hall. Both built in the 1920′s.
I can’t recall the setlist but I am pretty sure they did a Byrds cover early in the set. Stipe had singed his hair and had shaved the side of his head that week. The band also found a box turtle somewhere that afternoon and it was walking around on the stage all night. I really wish I could see that setlist!
